Rajasthan Heritage Tour
Rajasthan, known as the "Land of Kings", offers some marvelous traces from history in the form of its forts, palaces, Havelis and Havelis that were previously the residences of the state royalty. These structures left over from the past are scattered throughout the state of Rajasthan and are excellent examples of rich architectural heritage. All these ancestral houses for centuries reflect their own personal history and traditions. Meticulously restored by these impressive structures of the former Maharaja of today, heritage hotels have been transformed into budget hotels with varying budget ranges. Day 01 Delhi Arrival:
Arrive at Delhi International Airport. On arrival, you will meet our representative at the airport. He will assist with the transfer and will accompany you till the hotel check-in.
Day 2 – Delhi Sightseeing:
Today, visit both New and Old Delhi for a full day city tour. Visit Jama Masjid - the largest mosque of Emperor Shah Jahan, Red Fort, Raj Ghat - cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi, till India Gate - 42 meters stone arch built-in memory of Indian soldiers martyred in World War, drive past President Building and Parliament House, Humayun's Tomb, Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Birla Temple and a memorial by Lotus Temple
The tour will begin between 08:00 to 09:00 AM with pick-up from your preferred location. Our driver will come to receive you and then you will continue sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Your tour guide will meet you on the way and help you throughout the day. It is about 8 hours tour. First we start from Old Delhi and then proceed to lunch. New Delhi after lunch. After exploring New Delhi, you will drive to Agra, when you arrive at your hotel and overnight stay at Agra check-in.
Day 3 – Delhi to Agra
Morning leave for Agra, you will reach there by noon. Check-in upon arrival at Hotel Grand Imperial. Afternoon Taj Mahal - Red Fort and Itmad-ud-daula, one of the seven wonders of the world.
Day 4 – Agra to Jaipur
The morning drive from Jaipur leads to Fatehpur Sikri, the old capital of the Mughals, yet preserved in good condition. Proceed to Jaipur and check into Raj Palace or Jai Mahal Palace. In the evening you can visit the colorful local markets.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing
Morning excursion to the fort of Ambar - Dundhar, the capital of the old state, which is situated on the rugged hills surrounded by Jaipur. Painted elephants will take you up the hill to admire the pavilions and palaces with massive gateways, courts, ladders, and pillars that commemorate the glory and wealth of Ambar's association with the Mughals. Places to visit in the afternoon at the City Palace Museum (still the erstwhile royal family)
Day 6: Jaipur – Bikaner
Morning drive to Bikaner. After lunch in Bikaner, drive to Gajner (half an hour drive). Check out, Gajner Mahal. Afternoon for leisure.
Day 7: Explore Gajner And Around
Located in the north of Rajasthan, this desert city is largely unheard of. The tour of Bikaner begins with the magnificent stone carvings of the Junagadh Fort. The fort has a general collection of Rajput miniatures and an extensive collection of weapons, including two World War II bilateral. Another notable place you visit is the Government Camel Breeding Farm in Asia.
Day 8: Gajner – Jaisalmer
Morning drive to Jaisalmer, you will be reaching there by afternoon. Check into Gorbandh Palace.
Day 9: Jaisalmer - City Tour And Evening Visit Sam Dunes
Morning visit told about Jaisalmer Jain Temple, its arts and crafts works in various Havelis, Gadi Sagar Tank and Museum, Jaisalmer Fort, etc. This is the closest place from where you can lose yourself in the 'Great Thar Desert'. Join a camel caravan and ride along with the breathtaking forests and troughs.>
Day 10: Drive To Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur, visiting Osian temples, back to BC You can once again enjoy a camel ride here. Proceed to Jodhpur and check into Ajit Bhawan.
Day 11: Drive To Ranakpur
Morning city tour of Jodhpur, Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace Hotel & Museum, Jaswant Thada, Mandore Garden, Clock Tower, and Sadar Bazar. Afternoon drives to Ranakpur and checks into Hotel Fateh Bagh.
Day 12: Drive To Kumbhalgarh
Morning drive to Kumbhalgarh and check into Aodhi. Later visit the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary and various temples. Overnight at Hotel Aodhi.
Day 13: Kumbhalgarh – Udaipur
Check-in at Udaipur and Shiva Niwas or Fateh Prakash Palace in the morning. Afternoon excursion to Eklingji and Nagda temples.
Day 14: Udaipur City Tour
All-day city tour Pratap Memorial, City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Folk Art Museum of India, Sahelyon Ki Bari (garden grounds), Fateh Sagar, Pichola Lake, etc.
Day 15: Fly Udaipur/Delhi Connect International Flight
Morning transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi for your international flight back to home.
